  • Members are required to abide by the rules and regulations of the country while Riding. The club will not compromise on the existing protocols other than in case of an emergency.
  • Any new membership Interest will need to go through the Standing Committee and membership is not guaranteed till a new member is honoured with the Club Patch. We don’t promise anyone membership
  • Don't fiddle around with any part of club member's colours, which includes the vest or jacket it's sewn or velcroed on. That is considered serious disrespect, which could cause members to educate the un-informed.
  • New Riders interested in joining the Club will be assessed and decision will be made after 3 Rides.
  • No member can ride in Club vest individually.
  • Vest are to be worn only during Club hosted Events/Rides or needs to be discussed with the Committee and an approval is required for any special events or exceptions.
  • It’s our Club and we need to make sure that there is no bad influence. Keep/perform a check on any new member.
  • All member on WhatsApp group should be official members only.
  • Exit procedure – Any member who wishes to exit the club will have to return Club patches and Club T shirt.
  • Membership fee is not refundable and cannot be exchanged.
  • All L and P platers to have name Tag as Prospect.
  • No ride planning responsibilities to be given to L or P platers.
  • No Club rides for any personal events (unless approved by the committee)
  • Any Event/Ride to be run through SMC Committee before it can be executed.
  • All members are responsible for each other’s safety and conduct.
  • Any disputes during rides to be resolved after the Ride in debriefing sessions with committee and Founding members.
  • Club official rides to include Club members only or prospects who have showed interest in joining the club.
  • All members to stay with Club Riders during any Rides organized by Third Party.
  • All Riders to follow Ride formation during Club Official Rides.
  • Ride Coordinators to wear High Vis Vests/Jackets during Club official rides.
  • Smoking and consuming alcohol are strictly prohibited during club rides and other events as well as when in club attire
  • The club is not responsible for any damage or legal or illegal liability or third-party liabilities arising due to a participating rider(s) misconduct. The ownership of any legal or non-legal liability or third party will be on the participating rider(s) involved.
  • Total membership fee is $350 and needs to be paid upfront (any exceptions to be approved by Committee), membership renewal fee $100 per annum.
  • SSMC will monitor and enforce the adherence by all members and associates to the Code of Conduct with a formal warning and disciplinary process as outlined below.
  • First infringement will incur a formal written warning from the Core Committee. Written warnings have a lifetime of one year
  • Second infringement will incur a formal written warning from the Core Committee.
  • Any subsequent infringements will mean the Individual’s Chapter membership will be cancelled immediately
  • Aggressive behaviour towards others which includes both verbal and physical will not be tolerated.
